Xiaomi Recorded Staggering Growth in Q2 2021, According to the Data

Xiaomi noted that both its sales and net profit were at all-time highs, which serves as a positive indication that the business is headed in the right way.

During this time span, the firm delivered 52.9 million smartphones.

Xiaomi delivered 52.9 million devices in the second quarter of 2021, an increase of 86.8 percent over the previous year. Globally, the firm sold about 12 million premium cellphones, with prices ranging from CNY3,000 (€300) to CNY3,000 (€300).

Xiaomi’s sales from IoT and lifestyle goods reached CNY20.7 billion, representing a 35.9 percent year-on-year growth compared to 2016. Xiaomi’s smart TVs shipped 2.5 million devices worldwide in the second quarter of 2021.

What’s also noteworthy is that the number of customers who have five or more devices linked to Xiaomi’s IoT platform (excluding smartphones and laptops) has reached 7.4 million, according to the company. That also shows a significant rise when compared to Q2 2020, representing a 44.5-percent gain.

Xiaomi is on the verge of acquiring Deepmotion.
